Membership Onboarding

Welcome to Pearl Industry Network. This onboarding process activates your TrustLink access and, if selected, full membership privileges. It begins immediately after email verification and walks you through identity confirmation, profile setup, and (for paid members) community vetting.

If you registered using an Invite Code you will be brought right into the onboarding flow automatically when logging in. If you registered WITHOUT using an invite code, you will be taking to 'Account Pending Review' instead.

If you login and see this message, stating that your account is pending, it means that you are currently in the waitlist. There is nothing that you need to do at this point, when open registration is available you will be notified via email.

If you registered using an Invite Code, you should not see this screen. If you do, click the button to submit a support request.

Important Note: We do not have contracts of any kind. You are free to cancel your membership at any time at which point, it will automatically terminate at the end of the existing billing cycle.

Note: The Founder discount stays discounted for the life of your subscription. Meaning as long as your subscription is not terminated or cancelled, you will always enjoy 50% off of the regular monthly fee - forever. If your subscription ends, you will lose Founder benefits and will be unable to get them back.

Once a Membership Level is chosen, the card will display the different billing cycle options. Choose which one best fits your budget and click 'Confirm Selection'. You will not be billed at this stage.

Note: The Professional Membership level has discounts for each longer term chosen, However the Founder Membership does not, due to its steeply discounted rate.

You will not be billed at this stage. Billing and Payment doesn't occur until AFTER acceptance into the association.

If you chose a Basic Membership (Free) the next steps will apply to you as well. As it is part of the verification process.

Accuracy matters. This information supports identity validation and compliance requirements. Your Legal name and Date of Birth must match what is on your Identification or your verification will fail.

Note:

For Convenience, this will be pre-populated with anything that is currently in your profile.
You can click 'Change Membership' in the bottom right corner at any point to change which level of membership you prefer.

Step 3: Set your Avatar and Profile Images

Upload a clear photo of yourself.

Only one required during onboarding, but you can upload as many images as you would like.
Set the Title, Alt Text, Caption, or Description (If you choose), or accept the defaults

Additional media can also be added later.

Once you have finished choosing your Images, click 'Upload Image'

If you are on a desktop:

If you are on a desktop, hover your mouse over the image you want to set as your avatar, and click on the 3 dots (menu) that appears on the image.

Then click on 'Set Avatar' in the pop-up menu.

check click 'Confirm & Continue'

If you are on a mobile device:

Simply Touch the Photo and in the Menu that opens up, choose 'Set Avatar'

Then once the menu closes, scroll down and click 'Confirm & Continue'

Note: The same method used on Mobile devices to set the avatar will also work on Desktop Devices

Step 4: Social Platform Verification

You must choose at least 1 Social Media platform to advance. Adding All of your platforms and using the login methods to verify them (Like the 'Sign in with X' option) will speed up your verification.

Connect & Verify Social Media

Add your social platforms and verify ownership by logging into each one that is configured to allow login.

This confirms:

You control the accounts
Your digital footprint matches your identity
Your TrustLink and Profile data stays accurate

Any platforms that you sign in using, will be automatically marked as verified and your follower count will be synchronized. You can manually add accounts as well by clicking the 'Add Platform' button and then choosing which ones you would like to add.

Once you have added all of your Social Media platforms, click 'Continue'

Step 5: Age and Identity Verification

Note: We Do Not Store your data, likeness, or anything related to your identity or biometrics. We store only the items required by law to remain compliant and not a single thing extra.

We use Veriff for secure age and identity verification.

You must complete verification to activate TrustLink or membership status.

Click 'Start Identity Verification' when ready, this will pop open a window with instructions from Veriff on how to get started.

If you are on a desktop, you can choose to Scan the QR code on your phone to start, or, you can have a secure link sent to your phone so that you can continue.

Note: The Verification Process must be done on your phone as it requires your camera.

Follow the On Screen instructions from Veriff to complete the process.

IMPORTANT CHECKLIST:

Make sure that you are in a Well Lit area.
Give your Phone's Camera a quick wipe (Front and Back Camera).
Place your ID on a contrasting surface, ie: If you ID is white, put it on a dark, or black surface before taking the photos.
When doing the final selfie, make sure that you are not wearing a hat or any extra items on your face that could distort your face from looking like the image on you ID.

Once you complete the process, you will be automatically moved to the next step.

If you were signing up for a Basic (Free) Membership, That will be the last step. After the Verification Succeeds your account will be activated and you will be able access TrustLink.

If You Selected Full Membership (Paid)

You’ll enter the Community Feedback Pool.

Confidential Community Vetting

You have 48 hours to gather 5 responses from members who have worked with you.

Not shared publicly
Not visible to you
Reviewed only by Admin

If 5 responses are received → You automatically advance.

If fewer than 5 responses → Your application moves to Admin & Board for manual reference review.

This step ensures trust, safety, and community integrity.

last step is to start the community review process by clicking 'Submit for Community Review'
